After the legislature fails to agree on a vote, Gov. Ned Lamont says he's giving up on toll-for-trucks this year

Facing opposition from voters and fellow Democrats, a frustrated Gov. Ned Lamont slammed the brakes Wednesday on his plan for trucks-only highway tolls after the state legislature again failed to schedule a vote on the controversial proposal.

Neuman was talking only about federal fuel taxes, not local, state or regional taxes."
